September!

Hello All!

How was your summer? I hope you got lots of time in your garden, or on your front porch, or at the beach, enjoying the pleasures of summer!

September 21st has come and gone, and the nights are getting chilly. It’s time to settle into rhythm and routine again. Maybe the Maple Leafs will do better this year?? We can only hope!

Over the summer I had the opportunity to learn and become a Journal to the Self workshop instructor. I have been a life long journaler, and mostly wrote my journal like a diary. This summer I learned eighteen new techniques for journaling! The techniques are drawn from Kathleen Adams’ best selling book, Journal to the Self. I had a ball learning these new, revitalizing techniques. After Christmas I am going to begin to offer ‘guided tours’ of this treasure chest of journaling techniques. We will meet on Zoom for 2 hours each week, for six weeks. During our 2 hours together each week, I will describe two or three of the techniques and give you an opportunity to try them for yourself. Then we’ll discuss how and when we might use each technique to promote our own personal growth and wellness. Sound like fun? If this is something you might like to do during January/February, or April/May with me, shoot me an email and I will put you on the list of folks who are interested! To allow for lots of time for discussion, I am going to keep each group size small, no more than six participants per group.

I wanted to let you know, too, that I have completed the Gobsmacked ! manuscript! Edits are going on right now, and I am hopeful, with Sheri’s help, to get this book out to you by spring 2027!

May you all have a wonderful time experiencing the best of the fall weather, and may your Thanksgiving gatherings be contented and yummy!

All the best!

Sue
