We made it!

Whew! Now it’s April 13th, Easter Sunday has come and gone, and I have crocuses blooming in my garden today. The daffodil shoots are present as well. Hallelujah! Spring has been a really long time coming this year, likely because the snow started in our area on Hallowe’en and never let up til last week.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to watch the Healing Soul Misery videos on YouTube, or who recommended them to a friend. Again, I have experienced the pure joy of being told that a person’s life was transformed by learning about the concept of Soul Misery. This person, in her 70s, said that she had always felt out of sync with the world, but when she listened to the recordings, she realized that it has been Soul Misery all along. She said that her life has been transformed by this understanding. I am so very happy for her!

I wanted to let you know of a fun occurrence in March, after I wrote the last blog. I was sitting with my accountant, a great guy who has always been one of my most loyal and faithful encouragers. He had recently read More Tent Pegs, and he wondered what my next writing project was going to be. I said I didn’t know yet! As we chatted away about our past year- what we had learned and what we had noticed about human interactions in our world- suddenly, an idea for a new book came to me. I was telling him that the most meaningful and helpful learnings have often come like a thunderbolt into my life. Somebody says something and I feel astonished, flabbergasted and often gobsmacked by the truth of what I have just heard. I told my accountant about that, and said, “I think I have the title for my next book. What do you think about Gobsmacked! as a potential title? He said he loved it! So the next day, I began to write my next book. I am feeling energized and excited as I start to do the raw, first draft writing. That is a really fun stage in the process.

I hope all of you had a meaningful, joyful, chocolatey Easter weekend, and that wherever you are, you are noticing some definite signs of spring.

All the best to everyone!
