Fantastic, practical advice for improving self-esteem and discovering your true self!

Dr. Gleeson's book, "We are Already Whole", was incredibly helpful for me in deepening my connection to my true self. The daily readings and invitation activities are just the right amount of reflection to build a strong awareness of self over a three-four week period. I love that Susan combines meditation, art and practical, easy to do activities to support different learning styles. I struggle with self-esteem, this book was healing for me and grounded my awareness of original wholeness. I highly recommend!

Inner peace and joy is possible, reconnect to our true self!

Dr Gleeson’s latest book left me feeling enlightened, inspired, and ready to heal. Packed with simple yet deeply profound meditations and expressive art exercises, the 21 day programme is most achievable. Encouraging much needed self-esteem, restoring trust and faith in ourselves in these especially challenging times, Susan adds delightful touches of personal experience. How I’d love a cuddle from Joanna, or to be a pupil in Martha’s class! And what a revelation to read how, when I say 'hello', I am actually wishing that person, 'whole be thou'! Susan has a wonderful knack of capturing relatable scenarios to take us on our own inner journey, shedding the layers we accumulate through life and rediscovering our true self, with enjoyable activities to help along the way.

In retrospect, I have become a better ex-husband and father

“I got hooked on Dr. Gleeson's first book Soul Misery...at the onset its principles were in alignment with me at that moment in my life. I read book two and again it was a steady hand. Then came along "I Didn't Really Want to be There" .... book 3. All I can say is that it guided me through striking changes in my life which was culminating in a divorce. Gleeson's book provided context, structure, and a level of peace to my thinking. In retro spec I have become a better ex-husband and father, meaning I found a path to acceptance and disbanded blame ...that gave me serenity. This is a great read!” - Jim Towse

I recommend this little jewel as a solo find or part ...

“Once again Susan Gleeson has put some contemporary concepts into simple and credible language that is relevant in some way for each of us. I was particularly impressed with her choice of quotes to support her work and the extensive reading list to accompany this book. I recommend this little jewel as a solo find or part of the trilogy that she has so artfully written.” - Julie, Art Therapist

If I Love You, Why Is It So Hard to Live With You?

EMPATHY IS THE KEY : NO MATTER WHERE WE ARE IN THE LIFE OF AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP, EMPATHY IS THE QUALITY WE NEED.

After all is said and done, to thrive in an intimate relationship, the quality most required is that of empathy extended from each partner to the other. We can attain this state after both partners have learned to know and accept themselves, and after they know and fully accept the other. In addition to empathy, we need to become curious and diligent students of our relationship, the We that we create, which is an entity unto itself and is as real as each of us as individuals.

In If I Love You, Why Is It So Hard to Live With You?, Dr. Gleeson discusses how we can tackle the process of learning how to know and accept ourselves, how we can make a healthy choice of intimate partner, and how we can come to understand our relationship.

Another highly readable and insightful book from Sue Gleeson. Written clearly and logically, anyone aiming for successful relationships should read this. I wish I'd had it forty years ago! The toolkit framework whets appetite for further personal research to help answer this universal question. Beautifully presented by someone with vast experience and tremendous empathy, who loves what she does and lives to share the benefits of her learning. Thank you Sue Gleeson! In eager anticipation of your next book! - Christine Cuzick

This book was such an enlightening and compelling read. It made me think about things that I had never thought about, and in ways that I had never thought about them. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in puzzling out how relationships work and why. - Hilary Cameron

I thought I was a good partner and had a reasonable understanding of Myers Briggs personality typing... in relationships. I sort of got the personality / marriage linkage ... what made me read Dr. Gleeson's book 3 times and purchase a copy for my former wife was how the dynamics of an intimate relationships were presented with spectacular clarity. Now I really get it. Dr Gleesons work will not change my past relationships but it surely has impacted my future. I am now much more comfortable and confident that I will be able to sustain an intimate relationship. This body of work is important and having stumbled my way through a failed marriage I can assure you answers are out there, have a read. - James Towse

Healing Soul Misery: Finding the Pathway Home

My specialty is coaching people with soul misery. Soul misery is a situation where the person does not know who they are or what their life purpose is, and no-one else sees it either. I recently completed a book called Healing Soul Misery: Finding the Pathway Home, which describes the reasons for the development of Soul Misery and explains the four stages of healing it.  The book is available for purchase at the following locations:
